Christmas market promotes local women businesses

East Ridge, Tenn. (WDEF) – Some holiday shopping in East Ridge is supporting two good causes.

Women with the group, SHE Degree, held their Everything SHE Needs Christmas Market today at the Camp Jordan Arena.

This market promotes local women businesses, and admission to the event benefits Toys For Tots.

Shoppers could find everything from sweets to clothing and accessories, to woodwork and jewelry.

“This is a great time of year when you can be thankful, and we are just all as shes, as part of SHE Degree, we’re thankful that we have great families and great kids, and it’s so nice to be able to support other women businesses, and to be able to give back to them, and also to give to the Toys For Tots,” says Lisa Bennett with SHE Degree.

SHE Degree hopes to hold another market next year.
