Christmas morning shooting victim refuses to talk to police

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – Police are trying to investigate a Christmas morning shooting but the victim has refused to give officers information.

According to police, around 3 A.M., an officer head gunshots near the 1400 block of East 3rd Street. When the officer arrived on scene, Darius Blakemore, 26, was found on the ground suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his right leg. Multiple people were on scene tending to him.

When police attempted to get details about the shooting, Blakemore and the people surrounding him reportedly refused to give officers any information.

So far, there is no suspect information.
