City Hosts Purchasing Fair

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The city of Chattanooga wants to do business with local companies.

That’s why the purchasing department hosted its annual purchasing fair.

City officials want to connect with local businesses and buyers, so they can all work together.

“They are learning about our city departments, having a general overview of them, what our current contracts are, and the resources that they can rely on in order to develop their business to the extent of where they can be able to contract with the city potentially,” said Bonnie Woodward, purchasing director.
