City of Chattanooga Details Christmas Tree Disposal

The City of Chattanooga reminds us that they have options on how to dispose of live Christmas trees after the season.

Their tree recycling program begins on the day after Christmas.

Locals can drop off trees at one of five recycle centers across the city.

You can find the locations and hours of each on the city’s website at https://chattanooga.gov/services/waste-recycling.

Or you can put your tree on the curbside for garbage pickup on your scheduled week.

The Christmas Tree recycling program continues throughout the month of January until January 31, 2026.
