City of Cleveland receives Civic Experiment Grant
CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The City of Cleveland has received the Civic Experiment Grant from Thrive Regional Partnership.
They say they were chosen from a competitive field of 85 applications across 14 counties in the tri-state region.
“Cleveland’s approved project, “Creative Spark” – Arts & Entertainment District Activation Series, will support the city’s emerging Arts & Entertainment District as it launches a master planning process.”
– The City of Cleveland said on Facebook.
They say in partnership with local artists and Understory Exp, the initiative will activate vacant and underutilized spaces through immersive civic experiments that transform overlooked sites into temporary “civic living rooms.”
This will feature art installations, performances, and facilitated community dialogue designed to help shape the district’s future in real time.
