Classic Cars, Customs & Community

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The 58th Annual World of Wheels custom auto show took place January 9–11, 2026 at the Chattanooga Convention Center, bringing one of the Southeast’s largest indoor automotive showcases to downtown Chattanooga.

The event featured hundreds of vehicles, from meticulously restored hot rods, antique and classic cars, to race cars, custom imports, and motorcycles, all displayed in creative setups throughout the exhibition hall.

Organized by McLean Motorsports Productions, World of Wheels is part of a national series of shows sanctioned by the International Show Car Association (ISCA), where vehicles are judged on condition, design, detail of finish and workmanship, and owners can compete for trophies and points toward ISCA championships.

In addition to the main show floor, the 2026 event included a 21st Annual Student Career Day on Friday, where students and instructors explored automotive careers, engaged with builders, and experienced the show before the public opening.

The 2026 World of Wheels wasn’t just about cars, it also brought the community together, attracting families, automotive enthusiasts, and local vendors from across the region.

Visitors had the chance to connect with builders, share their passion for vehicles, and celebrate automotive craftsmanship in a family-friendly environment.

From casual spectators to longtime car club members, the event created a space for people of all ages to learn, socialize, and experience the excitement of custom and classic cars, making it a true community celebration as much as an automotive showcase.
