Cleaning the Salt Residue Off Your Car

Many people were ready to clean their vehicles and get rid of the salt residue that sticks to your car after a snowfall.

Brick Johnson, an employee at the car wash, said if leave the salt residue on your car, it can eventually damage the vehicle.
 
Snow or whatever, it gets the cars dirty. It’s just like cleaning your body. if you don’t wash your body it collects dirt."

Johnson said it salt it dioxides the paint on the car, which can eventually lead to erosion.

"It takes away the value of it, it eats up, it’s like a cancer it spreads. Any crack that gets on your car from oxidization or anything, the road, rocks hitting your car. If you don’t have a good paint job on your car, it’ll crack the paint, then it’ll start deteriorating."

Johnson advises everyone to take a few minutes out of their day to clean their car.

"It’s good to have a clean car, it’s good to get them polished, And you know your car will love you."
