Cleveland City schools proud of their Level 5 TNReady scores
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – The City schools in Cleveland are one of five systems in our area to get top marks in this year’s TNReady schools. (Here are how our other systems scored)
The TVAAS scores show how students are learning compared to past grades.
They are judged on five levels, with 5 being the best.
Dr. Russell Dyer, Director of Schools, stated, “We are pleased with the overall results of the TNReady testing from last year related to student growth. However, we know we can’t remain stagnant and must press ahead and focus on our system goals. Our aspiration is for each and every student to see academic growth from one year to the next. Our professional educators are dedicated to this endeavor and I admire the work they do each day in our classrooms.”
Here is how individual schools scored in the five categories.
So proud of our school! We are 1 of 65 schools in the state with a “5” (highest ranking) in all areas of TVAAS! Truly remarkable work by our teachers and students! #itsagreatdaytobearaider pic.twitter.com/g3BPZBekCD
