Cleveland Police respond to a shooting

Cleveland Police have arrested one suspect for the Inman Street shooting on Wednesday evening.  More details to follow.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – Cleveland Police responded to a shots fired call in the 600 block of Inman Street at 8:35 Wednesday night.

According to Public Information Officer Sgt. Evie West multiple people were seen leaving the area in vehicles and on foot.

She said police have detained several individuals.

Authorities are working to get more information, but Sgt. West said currently it does not appear that anyone has been shot, nor property damaged.

Criminal investigators are getting statements and evidence.
