Cleveland Teacher Put on Leave Pending Domestic Assault Charges

Cleveland (WDEF) – The Cleveland School system has put a teacher on leave without pay after an arrest over the weekend.

Jeffrey B. Robinson is a 6th grade science teacher at Cleveland Middle School.

A woman who says Robinson is her boyfriend, says he assaulted her on Sunday.

Director of Schools Dr. Martin Ringstaff says “This is a legal investigation, and we will wait to hear from the courts before taking any permanent action. The safety and well-being of our students is our number one concern.”
