Cleveland wears purple for Olivia Weatherford
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — People across Cleveland, and other parts of the Tennessee Valley, wore purple on Friday in support of Olivia Weatherford.
Olivia Weatherford is a fourth grader at Candy’s Creek Cherokee Elementary School in Cleveland.
She was diagnosed with cancer at age 5, according to Facebook group LIV – In The Journey.

Cleveland City Schools shared images of classmates, faculty and staff wearing purple on Friday.
They also released this statement:
The Weatherford family, along with Olivia, have had the chance to view the articles and media coverage, they are over the moon. Their spirits have been lifted by the outpouring of support. Thank you for bringing smiles to this family during this difficult time.
