Who is Cleveland’s Tall Betsy this Halloween?
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – The city of Cleveland has it’s own, unique Halloween legend.
For a generation, parents told their kids about Tall Betsy.
She used to haunt the annual Halloween block party, and then went into retirement.
But now Tall Betsy is making a comeback.
Tonight at 6:30 p.m., Tall Betsy will return to 150 Centenary Ave. for the first time since 1998.
Take a look at the video to hear her story.

But wait, there’s more!
Here is a cutdown version of the Zac Adams documentary about her.
“Halloween history will be made on Centenary Avenue this year,” said Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland. “Those lucky enough to see Tall Betsy will have memories they can share one day with their children and grandchildren. This is a night Cleveland will remember forever – possibly the spookiest night our city has ever seen.”
