Said head coach Danny Wilson:”Offensively he’s the guy that leads us and everything. He commands the huddle. He commands the offense. our guys trust him to be able to do that.

Coahulla Creek Senior Quarterback Kace Kinnamon is quick to deflect any credit and praise his teammates.

Said Kinnamon:”Watching Manny Dominguez florish a new player has been one of the best things about the season. I love throwing on the wall he catches it so I keep on giving it to him. He’s always open big target that’s hard to miss.

But the QB has stood out this season and during his career as a colt.

Said Kinnamon:”The trust coach Carter the quarterback coach has  really helped. He thinks I’m the best one is the weather nothing that. He trust me so I gotta trust myself to make plays for a team.”

Kinnaman has thrown for nearly 1500 yards and double TDs this season. But he’s also became even more dangerous on the ground.

Said Kinnamon:”I don’t run timid anymore. Sophomore year around timid and scared I wasn’t myself. I think this year running the ball has been a big step up my game from last year.”

Said Wilson:”He’s gotten better each year and really each week. We try to add a few things as well as we go to enable him to hurt people with his legs because he can do that. It makes them prepare for something else.”

Opposing coaches know that they need to scheme up their defense to try and limit Kinnamon.

Said Ringgold head coach Robert Akins:”He’s a great football player and I think you try to limit him not to stop him, try to limit him as much as you can and place ourselves as well.”
