UPDATE: Resident Suffers Burns Following Cohutta House Fire
UPDATE: A resident suffered burns in a house fire this morning in Cohutta, Georgia.
It happened around 6 a.m. at a home on Chattanooga Road.
The Whitfield County Fire Chief tells us the victim suffered burns to the hand and was transported to the hospital.
No one else was hurt.
Their initial report found that it was an accidental electrical fire.
They are blaming a bad wire to a space heater.
WHITFIELD COUNTY — A residential fire in Cohutta prompted an emergency response on the morning of January 6.
The fire was located on Chattanooga Road.
The residence was deemed all clear and the fire is under control, according to Whitfield County Fire.
