Cole Strange honored before Red Wolves domination

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Red Wolves invited former Chattanooga Mocs offensive lineman and New England Patriots first round draft pick Cole Strange back as the guest of honor Saturday. Strange opened up the game with the ceremonial first kick and coin toss.

Then, the Red Wolves went to work. Wolf Pack scored four goals, two per half, to answer Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC’s early opening goal.

The Red Wolves get the professional win and the personal win. Hailstorm’s head coach is Eamon Zayed, a former member of the Red Wolves and the first Chattanooga player to score a goal in franchise history. Fan favorite and fierce goal scorer Marky Hernandez also played against his former club as one of Northern Colorado’s starters.
