Collector Car Appreciation Day celebrated at Coker Tire, Honest Charley

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Friday, July 14 is national Collector Car Appreciation Day.

Coker Tire and Honest Charley invited anyone with an older auto to come on down from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Folks got free refreshments and a free tour of the Coker Museum.

It’s all about appreciating classic cars, and their place in American History.

“Collector Cars and vintage cars, at the turn of the century, started the industrial revolution,” said Coker Tire owner, Corky Coker. “People have more fun when they ride around, as a family, in a collector car. Congress wisely approved this day and we’re celebrating it at Honest Charley and Coker Tires.”

And if you need parts or repairs for your older car, Mr. Coker has you covered.
