Community Forward hosts Village Celebration

CHATTANOOGA, TN.- Community Forward hosted its very first, Village Celebration, at Orchard Knob Middle School.

Community Forward does a lot of their work during the school year, in mid-town schools and at high need schools

The event was to celebrate what they have done for the students and their families.

Community forward leaders continue to push past barriers and keep giving students more opportunities and support.

“In order for our kids to thrive and become who they’re supposed to become they’re going to have to see the adults come together support them get you’re behind them and support everything they’re doing. Not only academically but socially. Because research has proven that kids learn through social interaction and play” says community forward coordinator, Don Jenkins.

Unity is their biggest message from this event, and there will be many more like this to come in the future.
