Complaint Leads to Drug Bust

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Chattanooga Police Department says that an individual has been charged after following up on a complaint from a community member.

Officers conducted an operation at the 2500 block of E. 5th Street.

Investigators recovered multiple controlled substances, a firearm, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Marcus Fortson, 41, was charged with multiple counts of possession for resale, including methamphetamine, crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana, CPD says.
