Concerns with Multi-Family Cluster Developments Arising
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Citizens made their way out to the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Commission meeting as concerns are beginning to arise from future construction plans set to take place in the upcoming future regarding potential developments in Chattanooga.
The development
plan in question was first initially adopted and approved back in 2007 to break ground on a new multi-family cluster development.
The main concern addressed by residents in attendance was the increased traffic caused by this development claiming the area in question is already unsafe for driving and that this would make things far worse.
One of the other main concerns of the people of Hixson is worries about sewage and run off as the development is planning to be put in a quarry.
With lots of unanswered questions the planning commission deferred a decision until after meetings are held between the planners and the residents.
