Construction related road closures

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Some road closures will be impacting people’s commutes during the weeks of August 5th through August 16th.

3815 North Terrace Ave

North Terrace Ave west of Belvoir Ave will be reduced to a single lane from Tuesday, August 6th until Friday, August 16th for multiple crane lifts. Commuters should plan for additional travel time or consider alternate routes.

800 Block of E 3rd Street

E 3rd Street from Siskin Drive to Palmetto Street will be reduced to a single lane in each direction on Tuesday, August 6th from 8 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. for milling and paving. The project should be completed before the first day of Hamilton County classes.

Market Street at W 14th Street
One lane of Market Street southbound will be closed for an estimated 1 to 2 hours the evening of August 7th for the filming of a commercial. W 14th Street will be briefly closed during the same period.
