Councilmen Byrd talks to constituents about Lincoln Park revitalization, health care options
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Councilman Anthony Byrd says he’s still fighting for the revitalization of Lincoln Park.
Councilman Byrd held meeting with his constituents Saturday morning where he updated the community about the Lincoln Park revitalization project.
He says he’s talked to the Mayor about the need for added infrastructure in that community.
At the meeting, Councilman Byrd said, “Coolidge Park is not for us Miller Park is not for us but Lincoln Park will always be for us because it’s our park. If you gave us a 5 acre campus to tell the story of Lincoln Park and a road that everybody can drive by and look at with 2 million or 3 million or $4 million look like in the African American park that would be something amazing.”
Councilman Byrd also invited health care providers to talk to the neighbors about their options.
