Country Artist Elle King Teases New Year’s Eve Bash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Country music stars are taking the stage to celebrate 2023 as part of CBS’ NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH.

Riverbend Festival alums Jimmie Allen and Elle King are hosting the TV special along with Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith.

Allen and King are singing too.

When News 12 asked Elle about her performance, she told us we might know the words to some of the songs, and we might not know the words to another one.

So what else can we expect to see at the show?

“Incredible performances,” King said. “Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, my buddy Dierks. Luke Bryan, King Calaway, Sheryl Crow. She teams up with one of my best friends and one of my favies. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say. There’s also so many surprises, but I’m not amazing at keeping secrets. But I will. But you have to watch because that’s what I love about country music. You never know what kind of a collaboration is going to happen. That’s how I came into country because Dierks brought me into it. I am so in love with country. I’m like, I’m holding on for dear life. So you have to tune in to see because you really never know. Like, there’s one big surprise that I freaked out about. So I can’t tell you. I can’t tell you. It’s amazing. It’s really, truly an incredible show.”

You can catch Elle, Tennessee Valley native Kane Brown, and plenty of other performers on New Year’s Eve night.

It all starts at 8 p.m. ET on News 12.

You can also stream it live and on demand on Paramount+.
