County Rescue kicks off season 2 in Cleveland
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- County Rescue filmed its highly requested second season in Bradley County on Wednesday.
“We will film the show here for six weeks, and then it will air on Great American Family and Great American Pure Flix streaming in January of 2025,” said Shawn Boskie, Executive Producer for County Rescue,
County Rescue is a TV drama series that focuses on faith and family,
Boskie explains why Season 2 is so special.
“In this case, this is an EMT team that is going responding to service calls where people are hurt or injured or sick, and they are working together, but when they come back to the station, they have to get along with each other,” said Boskie said, “They are together a lot, so that can be like family, where you have little idiosyncrasies and challenges, but they work through them because they love each other.”
County Rescue aired its first season earlier this year on Great American Pure Flix.
Brett Varvel, who plays Andy Dalton on County Rescue, considers the show as inspiring.
“I am a part of a show that is inspiring hope in people’s lives, that is giving family something that they can watch together and not be worried that something inappropriate might come on the screen,” said Varvel. “Knowing that you are part of something that is creating change in people’s lives is something that is really life giving to me.”
In the TV series, County Rescue, EMT’s are viewed as courageous human beings and everyday heroes.
Varvel hopes season 2 will change lives and strengthen the faith of individuals’.
“I really hope that people take to heart when they are watching County Rescue is that they are not here by accident. they were created for something so much bigger than the circumstance that they are living in right now,” said Varvel. “God loves them and he has a purpose for their life. Being able to be a part of crafting stories like that is thrilling.”
