CPD arrest 3 suspects in Woodlawn Apartments shooting
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police report that three suspects have been taken into custody for the attempted murder of Dequan Jamal Duke.
18-year-old Demarcus Hubbard, 18-year-old Tadarius Hester, and 21-year-old Darrien Metcalf were charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony and Reckless Endangerment.
All three suspects are confirmed by police as local gang members.
24-year-old Dequan Jamal Duke, was shot Tuesday night, April 25th, on the 2300 block of Wilson Street near Woodlawn Apartments.
The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Duke later arrived at CHI Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle. While there, police confirmed that he was alive, but in serious condition.
