CPD conducting homicide investigation on Lillian Lane

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) announced they’re conducting a homicide investigation on Lillian Lane.

CPD responded to a shots fired call in the 1400 block of Lillian Lane at 3:30 p.m., September 11, 2024.

After officers arrived on scene, they discovered a 16-year-old male with life threatening injuries.

After the Chattanooga Fire Department and Hamilton County EMS responded, the victim was pronounced deceased.

CPD’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit also responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.

CPD reported that preliminary information revealed the victim was walking in the area when he was shot.
