CPD heard gunshots and found two teens wounded

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday around 1:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Milne Street.

According to police, officers were nearby on an unrelated call for service when they heard multiple gunshots.

They immediately made their way to the area where the gunfire originated and found two individuals with gunshot wounds.

One a 19-year-old male with life-threatening injuries and the other a 17-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hamilton County EMS transported both to a local hospital.
