CPD responded to a shooting call

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting call in the 4900 block of Central Avenue on March 14, 2025, at 2:18 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

Chattanooga Fire and Hamilton County EMS also responded, with EMS transporting the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

The Chattanooga Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting.
