Craig Campbell to headline Lafayette’s “Music on Main” finale

LAFAYETTE, Ga. (WDEF) — Lafayette’s 2023 concert series, “Music on Main,” is coming to an end this weekend. For their last 2023 concert, the city hopes to end big.

The final event will take place on October 13, starting at 7 p.m.

Country music singer Craig Campbell will be headlining the “Music on Main” finale.

In addition, “The Voice” finalist Amber Carrington will be performing as well.

Downtown Lafayette plans to close down Main Street for the concert.

And the best part is, it’s free.

However, there will also be items available for purchase. The event will feature food and drink vendors in the square.

Organizers ask the public to bring their own lawn chairs, but outside food and drinks are not permitted.

They will also provide cornhole boards and other games available for kids and adults to play.

Prior to the music kickoff, Lafayette will host a 5K race, at 6 p.m. This will be to showcase the city’s new Greenway Trail.

Campbell previously performed in Lafayette, Georgia at the Honeybee Festival in 2018.
