Crossville Husband charged with gun violation after his wife is shot
CROSSVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Investigators have charged a husband in Crossville, but not with the death of his wife. At least not yet.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of 52 year old Terri Loretta Pitton on Tuesday at the couple’s home in Crossville.
She was shot to death.
TBI agents called into the case say that Donald Wayne Jackson is a convicted felon and should not have guns.
But they say he did.
So they have charged him with illegal possession of a firearm.
The investigation into his wife’s death is ongoing.
