Crossville man charged with murder of his aunt

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – TBI investigators and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office have charged a man with killing his aunt.

The body of 55 year old Teresa Faye Austin was found in the front yard of her home in Sparta on Sunday.

The investigation led them to her nephew, 36 year old Stacy Dwight Austin from Crossville.

He has been charged with Voluntary Manslaughter and Attempted Tampering with Evidence.
