Dade County EMA opens storm shelter

DADE COUNTY — Dade County Emergency Management says they will be opening their community storm shelter at 3 p.m. in anticipation for weather.

They say preliminary timing of the storms to pass through the area will be around 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

They say individuals will need to bring food, water and anything you may need to stay awhile.

The shelters are monitored by cameras for safety.
