Dade County faced internet, phone service outage Friday morning
DADE COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — Dade County experienced a county wide internet and phone service outage on Friday morning.
Dade County EMA took to social media to let residents know about the issue.
They said dialing 911 would not work, either. Dade County EMA told the public to call 423-413-5849 instead.
To reach the jail, they told the public to call 706-944-0400.
Then, at 11 a.m., Dade County EMA said phone and internet service was operational in most areas.
However, they said that internet may take longer to restore in some areas.
Anyone still having internet outages should call 706-657-4367.
It is unclear so far what caused the widespread outages.
