Dade County man found guilty on child molestation charges

TRENTON, Ga. (WDEF) —  A Dade County man has been found guilty of child molestation.

The conviction of Jesse Miles Seals was followed by a two day trial that was held April 21, 2025 through April 22.

During the trial the victim testified, describing several inappropriate interactions with Seals.

The victim stated this started when Seals was dating their older sister, when the victim was around 12 years old.

After the victim turned 15, Seals took her on a midnight drive and molested her.

A witness to the incident testified in court, saying after the molestation, the victim was hyperventilating and in tears.

According to the Lookout Mountain District Attorney’s Office, three other girls also testified to similar accounts with Seals.

“I want to thank District Attorney Fuller, Detective McConathy, and the entire DA’s Office for standing by me and believing me. I was scared, but they helped give me the strength to speak out and get justice for me and the other girls.”
