Dade County officials investigating a school bus crash

 DADE COUNTY, Georgia (WDEF) – The Dade County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a minor bus crash that sent several students to the hospital.

The sheriff says the bus ran off the road into a ditch around 3:45 pm. Dade County officials say it happened at the intersection of New Home Road and Brow Road.

Six children were transported to local hospital for minor injuries.   The accident is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol, and by the Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division.

There were 47 students on board and 1 driver.
