Dade County schools return on Thursday with 3D printing
TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – When kids return to Dade County Elementary on Thursday, they’re going to see some new objects around school.
Teachers on the DES S.T.E.A.M team have some new 3D printers and they’ve been firing them up this week to get ready for the new year.
They shared photos of a cat and a Millennium Falcon that they printed up on Tuesday.
Dade Elementary School
The cat goes to the library while the Star Wars model goes to the gym.
Dade and Chattooga County students head back to class on Thursday, followed by several more school systems in our area on Friday.
Hamilton County students still have one more week to go.
