Dalton Armed Robbery Suspects In Custody

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF)- Two South Carolina men are now in custody in Whitfield County.

That’s after Police say they held up a store in Dalton.

23-year-old Jacody Domonique Gunter entered the Verizon Wireless store on Shugart road Saturday evening.

Investigators say he confronted an employee with a handgun and demanded all of the store’s iPhones.

Gunter then left with a backpack full of iPhones and got in a car driven by 23-year-old David Rowell Jr.

The Georgia State Patrol stopped their car traveling southbound on I-75.

Gunter was charged with armed robbery.

Rowell got charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
