Dalton Company gives heaters to elderly

Dalton, GA (WDEF)  It has been a pretty warm December so far, but today’s cold snap is a reminder that the temperatures can change quickly… This morning Dalton Heating and Air went out to help make sure that 3 homes would be warm this winter……

"It makes me feel just wonderful, because I haven’t had a lot of people do things for me," said Annette Brock.

This morning Ms. Brock’s home was one of the 3 that Dalton Heating and Air installed brand new heating units in for free…

"When I came here this morning and talked to her, I really got the gift," said Kim Morgan, the owner of Dalton Heating and Air.

This is the second year that Dalton Heating and Air has done this. Last year they gave away a single unit. This year they tripled their efforts…

"I think it’s wonderful that he finds it in his heart to do things like that. You know there is not a lot of people that is willing to help," said Ms. Brock

Mr. Morgan said he hopes to be able to continue to do this every year and hopes that it can get bigger and better.

Mr. Morgan said, "It means a lot to me. I have got an elderly mother and I’m going to be an elderly person right down the road, and I believe what you put out is what you get back."
