Dalton Fire Department Introduces New Member

DALTON, Ga. — The Dalton Fire Department (DFD) introduced its newest member to Dalton’s Public Safety Commission on December 16.

Logan Fowler is joining the DFD after previously working with the Calhoun Fire Department. 

“Logan has returned home to fulfill a lifelong dream of being a Dalton firefighter and serving the community he grew up in.”

– Fire Chief Matt Daniel said.

While working at the Calhoun Fire Department, Fowler earned national certifications for both pumper and aerial apparatus operations as well as earning level one certification as a rope rescue technician, according to the City of Dalton.

His father pinned his badge to his uniform during the December 16 presentation.
