Dalton Police Arrest Albert Ladale Ware, The 2nd of 3 Armed Robbery Suspects

The 27 year old originally from Rockmart Georgia faces 6 charges  including armed robbery and false imprisonment and was part of a group of three who allegedly invaded this home on the night of February 20th.

Bruce Frazier, Dalton Police Dept,"They were asking for money the male victim was actually able to escape from the apartment he ran out the front door after a physical altercation and he reported hearing a gun shot"

Investigators say Ware and two others took more than 2000 dollars in cash and also got their hands on credit cards and jewelry.

"We were able to develop leads on who two of these three individuals were and were able to get arrest warrants, one was arrested back in March" added Frazier.

Residents say they were surprised by what happened back in February but say this is a quiet area with families and retired couples.

 Ware also faces charges in Polk County and faces a further charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

"I don’t know if he is going to be staying in Whitfield County jail or be sent back to Polk County to deal with his charges there first, I think they are trying to sort out who is first in line for that"

A young boy and a woman were inside the home at the time of the invasion and escaped unharmed.

The male victim who escaped, notified police by rushing to his cousin’s home just a few doors away.
