Dalton Police Charge Driver with DUI after Hitting School Bus

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – A driver was charged with DUI after running into a school bus around seven this morning in Dalton.

No one was hurt in the wreck.

Investigators say 61 year old William Hughes was driving a pickup that rear-ended the First Student bus on the Waugh street bridge.

Two students were on board at the time along with two First Student employees.

Hughes was not injured either.
