Dalton Police Department announces improved pay

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — Dalton Police are the latest agency to join the trend of improving their pay.

The Department says they have boosted their starting pay to $28.55 an hour.

The new pay rate begins in January.

Local police departments have been competing for new hires by boosting their pay.
