Dalton Police hope you can help find jewelry thief

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) – The Dalton Police Department wants to lend a jewelry thief some fashionable interlocking bracelets (also known as handcuffs) to go with the more than $600 worth of earrings he stole from Walmart Friday morning.

Dalton Police spokesman Bruce Frazier hopes you can help identify the thief from surveillance photos taken during the theft.

He said it happened at approximately 3:00 a.m. at the Shugart Road Walmart.

Frazier said the suspect entered the store and went directly to the jewelry counter, broke into it and filled his pockets with $634 worth of earrings.

The suspect left in what appears to be a silver Toyota sedan with Army decals on the back windshield.
