Dalton Police: Man and woman steal $1,000 in Ulta fragrances

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — Dalton police say a couple entered an Ulta Beauty and shoplifted more than $1,000 in fragrances.

It happened on October 9 at 7:50 p.m., at the store on West Walnut Avenue, according to police.

The suspects are a man and woman who police believe are in their 20s or 30s.

Authorities say the couple was only in the store for a few minutes. They placed fragrance merchandise in a bag and left without paying.

Store managers say the couple stole more than $1,000 worth of men’s and women’s fragrances. They also believe the couple was involved in another theft at an earlier time.

Suspect descriptions:

“The male suspect is described as being in his late 20’s or early 30’s with a slender build and standing between 5’10” and 6’2″ in height. He has a closely cropped dark beard and wore a black Nike hoodie and a brown American flag baseball cap. The female suspect was also described as being in her late 20’s or early 30’s with a heavyset build standing less than 5’3″ tall. She had shoulder-length dark hair and wore a gray Nike t-shirt, black Nike leggings, and glasses. She has a tattoo on her left forearm. Her keys were on a red lanyard.”
