Dalton Police release video of sexual assault suspect Monday Night

DALTON (WDEF) – Dalton police release video of the suspected attacker Monday night.

They say they are now investigating the attack in the Kroger parking lot on West Walnut Avenue, as a sexual assault.

Police say a suspect entered the victim’s car, and groped her before she got away.

The believe he was spooked when a child in the back seat screamed.

That gave the mother time to tell the child to run, and she escaped herself.

The video comes from the Kroger parking lot surveillance camera.

It shows the suspect walking from the left side, stop, turn to head toward the victim’s car.
