According to Dalton Police, Copponex Group employees were installing new playground equipment at the park and left the machinery in the park overnight.

Authorities provided surveillance camera images of a man taking the skid steer in a four-door pickup, which they believe could be a Toyota Tundra. Police say the man loaded the skid steer onto a double axel trailer with an attached toolbox and drove away.

They are asking anyone who can provide information on this theft to contact Detective Clinton Travis at 706-278-9085, extension 9-231.
