Dalton purse theft suspects sought

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – Dalton Police need your help identifying these two purse and credit card theft suspects.

Officials say the men apparently worked together to steal a woman’s purse from the mall.

Then, they used her credit card at stores in Calhoun, Adairsville, and Kennesaw; racking up more than $1,300 in fraudulent charges.

The purse theft happened at the A To Z Concepts kiosk in Walnut Square Mall on August 22nd.

The victim did not realize her purse was stolen until her credit card company alerted her to unusual activity on her account.

She then checked the kiosk’s surveillance video.

She saw two men approach the kiosk around 10:30 a.m.

The man wearing the navy blue polo shirt with white stripes on the collar and sleeves and a blue baseball hat appeared to be trying to distract the employee.

The other man wearing a white t-shirt and dark rimmed glasses moved her purse several times, appearing to look at cell phones in the case underneath it.

Then that man picked up her purse and walked away quickly.
