Dalton takes on Calhoun

(WDEF) – Dalton Catamounts took on the Calhoun Yellow Jackets .

Catamounts started swatting the Yellowjackets on their opening drive.

Razzle Dazzle on the first play of the game. Ahmaad Tanner with the ball and he pulls up. He goes down the field and hits Kyric McGowan this will be big. He goes for 58 yards until he’s pushed out of bounds a the 9.

Penalty backed the Catamounts up. So, JP Tighe goes back to pass, and he hits Zeke Cobb slashing across the middle. That’s a touchdown. That made it 7 – 0.

The Catamounts are on fire. The Jackets go down the field on their first series. Quarterback  Baylon Spector with a 30 yard run down to the 15. That set up a Calhoun field goal to make it 10 – 3.

Catamounts receiver Kyric McGowan should join the circus, because he’s about make an acrobatic catch. He pulls it down with one hand. 11 yards, good enough for a first down.

Start of the 2nd Quarter, Dalton to the air again. This play looks familiar, Tighe a slant over the middle to Cobb – he snags it. A 28 yard touchdown pass, that makes it 14 – 3. .

Calhoun tests the air and Spector to a wide open Luke Moseley, but he drops it. Moseley is frustrated, but dont worry kid, these young Calhoun kids say its alright

Dalton wins 28-13.
