Day & Shay: Riverbend Saturday Act on TVFCU Stage

This is the event that gets people from all over to come to the riverfront.

You always have a lot of locals, but people from out of town are checking out the Festival as well, and it’s for good reason.

We seem to get some of the best up and coming talent around.

Last year we snagged Florida Georgia Line as they were hitting it big.

This year, it’s Dan and Shay.

No one really knew who these two guys were when they were booked for the Riverbend Festival.

That is until their song "19 You and Me."

By the time that song skyrocketed up the country charts, the group was booked for this Saturday night on the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union stage.

Just another success story for this long running festival.

Sally Robinson with Friends of the Festival says, "It was a hit from the beginning. The community loved it from the very beginning. And we took it all over town trying new venues out, and that’s how it kind of evolved into what it has become. And the reason it is such a success is that we never stopped trying to do it better year after year after year."

Dan and Shay take the stage at 7:30 Saturday night, the 7th.
