DeKalb County Marijuana Bust
DeKalb County, AL (WDEF) – A welfare check on a child ends with a man being arrested for a marijuana growing operation in DeKalb County, Alabama.
Officers spotted the drugs through a window at a home on Alabama Highway 68.
They got a search warrant and found 13 marijuana plants with a street value of $26-thousand dollars.
They also confiscated drug paraphernalia, and guns.
37-year old Edward Joseph Sawicki of Albertville faces a number of charges.
The DeKalb County Sheriff says 2 children were removed from the home.
