DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office searching for stolen vehicle

DEKALB COUNTY — The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is searching for a stolen vehicle out of Kilpatrick.

The vehicle is a silver 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 with an Alabama license plate reading: 28AADW4.

It was stolen from Kilpatrick on 6/9/2026 at approximately 1240 a.m, the DCSO says.

It was observed driving in the Whiton community today, 6/10/2026 at approximately 9:30 a.m.

They say the vehicle was last observed near the intersection of CR-23 and Edgefield Road near New Canaan Church. It is believed the vehicle may still be in the Whiton or Asbury community at this time.

The vehicle has oversized aftermarket wheels, off-road tires, and a large exhaust system.
